KVC INTENSIVE CARE UNIT

In the CVC Intensive Care Unit, uninterrupted monitoring and support of vital functions of patients who have had or will undergo cardiovascular surgery are provided.

On the monitor, the patient’s heart rate, rhythm (ST analysis of the EKG when necessary), arterial blood pressure (systolic, diastolic, mean) percentage of oxygen saturation in the blood, respiratory rate, body temperature, ETCO2 if necessary, hourly bleeding amount, urine output amount , the parameters of the respirator and the analysis of arterial blood gases at regular intervals are followed.

Patients with heart failure can be provided with medical treatment or, when necessary, medical support with a pump (Intra Aortic Baloon Pump).

State-of-the-art devices are used in respiratory failure. Our patients who require a multidisciplinary approach can receive immediate consultation from our hospital’s distinguished teachers and expert staff and from all branches.

Services Provided;

• In the modern equipment of the hospital, computed tomography, bedside ultrasound, echocardiography, endoscopy etc. facilities are used. In addition, the fact that the unit is located on the same floor in the architectural project provides easy access and use for patients who are connected to the ventilator.

Before You Come!

Patients coming from the operating room, patients who are at risk or who may require close follow-up and support from coronary intensive care, intermediate intensive care units or cardiac surgery services, or patients with complications, accepted for care.
